My dad had a big grin on his face as he opened his birthday present last year. His joy was a gift to all.

For this layout, I used “Silver Celebration”, the versatile new kit from Di @ Legacy4Life. The glitter and ribbons were really fun to use on my dad’s birthday page. This gorgeous kit in blue, silver, grey, pink and maroon also worked well for an old Easter picture of my sister and me.

Didn't Nancy and I look cute? For Easter Sunday, Mom had made us special dresses and coats, and had put our hair in curlers the night before. That morning she got us all dressed up, then Mom and Dad had us pose with our Easter baskets.

For me at two years old, it was very hard to be given a basket of candy and told not to eat it. As soon as this picture was taken, I started to eat my huge chocolate egg.
