It's All Relative

Here are some special photos of my relatives. The first is a picture of my great great aunts. When my Great Grandfather Julius emigrated from Germany, two of his sisters remained behind. This 1928 photo of those two sisters captures their love for each other and the twinkles in their eyes. They look so full of life; I would like to have met them.

I submitted this layout to the July DSO Altered Photo Challenge.

The next photo is much more recent. On Easter, 2009, all the young people at my sister Nancy’s house decided to make a human pyramid. It made a fun photo, but I would not have wanted to be on the bottom!

For both of these layouts, I used "Escape to Paradise", the latest kit from Di @ Legacy4Life. As you can see from the preview below, this kit is very versatile with lots of fun papers and unique elements. Click here to visit Di's store and here to visit her blog.

We're going on vacation today (YAY!!), so I had to post this early. If you cannot find "Escape to Paradise" in Di's store today, check again in a day or two.

See you when we get back!

Your layouts are fantastic, love how you made the "painting" of your great great aunts.
Love the way you made the Pyramid title.
A little late, but I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
