Snowy Giants and a Giant Snow

Here is a wintry layout made from last year's photos, perfect for this time of year (in the northern hemisphere, anyway).

I submitted this layout to the DSO December Color Challenge.

In my last post, I talked about the big blizzard that hit our area. It ended up as the fifth biggest snow storm of all time based on the official record at the airport of 17+ inches of snow.

We only had about 14 inches here, but the snow drifted to 3-4 feet in some places. One of those big drifts was at the bottom of our driveway.

Our very kind neighbor saved us hours of shoveling by bringing over his huge snow blower to clear the driveway. Here are some photos.

With temperatures around 0 degrees F and strong winds, the wind chill was -20 to -30 degrees on the day after the storm. Understandably, Harry didn't want to pose too long with the yardstick.

Keep warm!

Sue

What a lovely LO. And what a lot of snow! Oh I'm sure you were glad with such a kind neighbor! :)

Wonder if your boys will create another awesome snow statue this year... ;)
