Warm Memories

I am looking out at the biggest blizzard in this area since 1991. Brrrrrr! The snow is 20+ inches (51 cm) in some places and the winds are over 30 mph (54 km per hour). The international airport is closed and the plows were pulled off the city streets in Hennepin County – Minneapolis and suburbs. I can’t remember the last time that happened. It was probably in the 1991 Halloween snow storm. Even the University of Minnesota is closed and it NEVER closes!

This photo from my Dad's 80th birthday party last spring reminds me that snow and cold don't last forever.
