When our family attended Family Camp at Camp Shamineau in the summer of 1991, we heard about a family variety show, and decided to take part. We had fun making costumes and props out of various items like paper grocery bags, construction paper, masking tape, and a hula hoop for our big lion-taming act. Washable marker helped the Daddy Lion look really snarly, but Magnificent David and Incredible John were up to the task. The ferocious lion was tamed!
