Bicycle Built for Three

I don't know where we found this old girl's bike.  It did have training wheels, but it was way too big for any of the boys.  However, I thought they looked pretty cute posing on it.

Snowy Fun by Sara

In the middle of making a huge snowy sea serpent sculpture with David and Harry, Steven and Sara posed for this photo.  I gave Sara technical support as she scrapped this page.  It was fun!

Happy Birthday to Us!

Steven and David's birthdays are only nine days apart, so in 1989, we held a joint birthday party, each boy with his own cake. In 2011, the two shared both the celebration and the birthday cake. Notice the M & M dinosaur?

Not So Solemn Vows

Just before he walked her down the aisle, Kristine's dad reminded Kristine that her mom said, "I do!" before the pastor finished reading the vows.  After Kristine made the same mistake, she turned to her mom, and teased aloud, "I blame you!"  Even though they didn’t know the whole story, everyone else chuckled.

Smiley Baby

I have always loved John's smile in the picture below, but the actual photo is pretty bad: camera strap in the way, huge shadows from the flash, John's outfit fading into the background, green line atop John's head.

After editing and cropping the photo, I made the layout below.  I really like the way it features John's smile.  It makes me want to just pinch his little cheek because he's so cute!  Of course, John is much bigger now, and wouldn't really appreciate that.

Journaling: John wan't a cuddly baby, but he sure could smile!

I wrote an article for the Scrap Girls newsletter featuring this layout, using it to compare GIMP to Photoshop Elements.  You can check it out here.

Did I make you smile, too?

Cherish

I thought this one word perfectly described newly-engaged John and Kristine.
