My sisters and I are very close, both in friendship and in age. This layout shows how close we were in age. Working with these photos, especially the last two, brought back memories of holidays spent at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
In 1897 at the age of 22, Amelia Hohenstein married Henry Rosin, a 40-year-old widower with two children. Amelia bore Henry four more children, one of which became my grandma, Alma Link. Great Grandpa died at 68, but Great Grandma living to be 95, leaving a legacy of 90 descendants.
The mat for the title was originally blue-green, but I recolored it using a technique you can read about here on the Scrap Girls blog.
This lovely quickly page matched the
colors of John and Kristine's wedding and fit this photo beautifully,
so even though I prefer to make my own layouts from scratch, I used
it anyway. I think it made a gorgeous page.
